Heaviest day so far. Longest route

march about 24 miles across sand

Left camp 9 o/c Had dinner about 9

miles from camp in the desert.

Made a sham attack on an enemy

I was detailed off with 40 others as

casualties & marched back to camp

across desert had great difficulty in finding

camp 7- 12PM
