What joy, leaving tomorrow. Every body busy packing up. I spent all the evening packing up. Ships come out causing another report to spread to the effect that we are going to England & not to the Dardenelles.

MENA CAMP, EGYPT. 1915-04. MEN OF THE 3RD BRIGADE PACK UP THEIR GEAR READY TO LEAVE FOR GALLIPOLI. IN THE FOREGROUND A MEMBER OF ONE OF THE BRIGADE'S BANDS PLAYS A KETTLE DRUM WHILE BESIDE HIM THE BUGLER POLISHES HIS MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
